Seeing as how this thread came up in google when i searched for a solution I thought i would post what worked for me. You find a solution yet? Installed the chipset first and still no effect then did SP2 update and web search still nothing. Thanks TreeFiddy that is definitely a last option, however looks like it is gonna have to happen. Also did you try pressing F3 on the unknown device to see if the driver can be located for you? Thanks for the suggestions. M2n-mx se audio that is there any chance you can take a screenshot of the program running for me?
I have the m2n-mx se audio same problem. It should be by default.

I installed the m2n-mx se audio that came with the mobo and nothing, i downloaded the drivers available on the ASUS website and still nothing. Download and run the following program. Yes just as I expected.
m2n-mx se audio It will then do a search for a driver. Try going through the Device Manager and clicking on the Device and updating the drivers through there. Installed the chipset first and still no effect then did SP2 update and web search still nothing.

Also can you m2n-mx se audio a screen shot of your Device Manager ausio me? In particular where it says M2n-mx se audio, video and game controllers. I have the same problem, tried changing the Azalia and front panel to AC97 and still doesn’t work. I tried this again and every other combination and still not solved.
M2n-mxx have installed, uninstalled sound m2n-mx se audio, chipset drivers new and old! The picture is here Thanks again. Save it then upload it to the web so I can see it.

Ok I did m2n-mx se audio reformat and still the same problem. Seeing as how this thread came up in google when i searched for a solution I thought i would post what worked for me.
You never know, it might help. The unknown device says it is form nvidia and made by asus but that is all. I would install them again or download the latest ones from the ASUS website. I have uninstaller the device and when it asks for the driver M2n-mx se audio send it to the correct driver but it doesn’t recognise it as the correct m2n-mx se audio.
I tried going through device manager and locating them on the CD but non of the drivers work.

The AC97 drivers do not work either. Yesterday I put together a new box for my mum, and the only issue is i can’t get any sound out m2n-mx se audio it. Any Audio from any Qudio connection? Any ideas, is this board stuffed?
M2n-mx se audio here is something else you can try. In device manager it says I have a PCI device that requires drivers. Ahdio check and m2n-mx se audio sure the sound is enabled in the BIOS.
I have tried installing directly from device manager, directly off the CD, and through the downloaded driver off the website.
